Black keeps your AppleScript and JavaScript for Automation (JXA) scripts in one place and runs them when you need them: by hand, at launch, on a schedule, from a global hotkey, when a folder changes, from a local webhook, from Shortcuts, or from AI agents you connect over MCP. It runs natively on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 14 or later, is signed and notarized by Apple, and tells you when an update is available.
